Turning Hippie

Bonjour mes amis! Welcome to another edition of "New Day, New Way." If you read my earlier blogs, you will remember Rachael and I made 3 batches of pasta dough. We finally put them to use and made ravioli, tortellini, fettucini, and lasagna noodles!

Here are our spinach stuffed tortellini, which we froze for future use! Also, my new pasta press, Preston!

We finally ate our handmade ravioli with vodka sauce and fresh Parmesan... Omg, it was the best thing, ever!

Side note: Right after we made our ravioli, they demonstrated it on "Worst Cooks In America" lol!

My second new thing that I did that is kitchen related is that we planted vegetables! Rachael and I are now growing SPINACH, GARLIC, AND CHERRY TOMATOES! :D I am so excited! We also planted a couple of flowers, a Peony and Surprise Lilies!

We are slowly turning into hippies... If you don't me, take a look at my new water bottle:

Aside from cooking and food: We have new living room furniture, from IKEA! Take a look:

I am in the process of redoing my bedroom and will post pictures on my next blog! I just got some new baking tools, so expect some SWEET news soon!
